Fern Cottage is located on Kirkgate in the historic market town of Thirsk, just next door to the world famous museum dedicated to Alf Wight, otherwise known as James Herriot. The cottage provides self catering accommodation for up to 2 people and is the perfect base to explore the beauty of North Yorkshire from the Moors to the Dales.,
Situated in the peaceful garden of a late Victorian town house the cottage was originally part of its outbuildings but was sympathetically extended in the 20th Century using reclaimed materials where possible. More recently the cottage has been updated inside to provide comfortable yet luxurious Self Catering accommodation in the heart of this historic market town, close to amenities yet far enough away to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern day life.
Fern Cottage offers all of the comfort that you would expect from a Four Star Gold awarded holiday cottage but with many personal touches and attention to detail that we believe will make your holiday special. Whether you choose to enjoy the garden in summer or snuggle up on the sofa in front of the fire in winter Fern Cottage is the perfect place to enjoy your holiday.
