Thank you, Andy and Sal, for a lovely visit.  It was a dream fulfilled for us.  We have wonderful memories of a beautiful, peaceful part of the world.  We especially enjoyed meeting both of you, Mike and Sue, and Alfie and the cats.  The cottage is perfect and just what we wanted - a cosy restful place to come home to each day!  Thank you for all the treats, pretty flowers and that cosy warm comforter.  You are wonderful people, we loved it all.

Lovely, lovely, lovely.  Very friendly hosts, neighbours and pets.  So clean itfs clinical, every credit to Sal & Andy for maintaining the 4 stars.  Having now stayed here for the second time you begin to understand why they named The Savoy after a cabbage.

Our fourth stay .... and now it's almost over !!  Where did those 2 weeks go ?  Once again, our home from home was as welcoming as ever and Sal, Andy, Fen, Ben, Millie and ever gorgeous Alfie, made our stay perfect and the (mostly) perfect weather really was an added bonus.  We are booked for stay 5 and before we even bid farewell to Thirsk / Fern Cottage, we are looking forward to our return - thank goodness for Sal and Andy and Fern Cottage.
